WRPA Annual Golf Tournament

Bellevue Golf Course | Register for $79.00

Sign up to join friends and colleagues for a round of golf at the Bellevue Golf Course.

FREE - Behind the Scenes Tour of the Climate Pledge Arena

Tuesday, April 12 | 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM 

Join Musco’s Washington representative Tim Butz on Tuesday, April 12, for a behind-the-scenes tour of the Seattle Kraken’s groundbreaking new arena.

At 12:45 PM, charter buses will transport guests from the Meydenbauer Center to Climate Pledge Arena. Upon arrival, Kraken Director of Fan Development Kyle Boyd will kick off the afternoon with an introduction to the team and its commitment to social responsibility. Guests will then enjoy a social hour with snacks and drinks as members of the Kraken staff take groups on behind-the-scenes tours of Climate Pledge Arena. Buses will return to the Meydenbauer Center by 4:00 PM.

Exhibitor Social in Exhibit Hall!

Tuesday, April 12 | 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM 

Come to the Exhibitor Social at the end of Pre-Con! As we converge at Meydenbauer on Tuesday, stop by Center Hall A. Get to know the exhibitors who are professionals in the industry with a bit of "Speed Networking" for random swag and prizes, and eat hearty apps provided by the WRPA with a no-host bar afterward.

This social has it all, for both introverts and extroverts alike! So relax, sit, enjoy the scenery, or play cornhole, giant Jenga and Connect Four. Get free digital images in the photo booth, then sing and dance the night away with karaoke provided by CitySoundWave of Seattle.

Whether you're arriving at your hotel, coming back from golf, Kraken, or the pre-con, we hope to see you in Center Hall A!


 

Wednesday Night Social

Wednesday, April 13 | 5:30 PM – 8:00 PM 

Axe throwing anyone? Pop on into Center Hall A after the education sessions for some axe throwing with PNW Axe Throwing CompanyIf you would like to participate in this activity please be sure to wear close-toed shoes.

This social will also feature a dance party with a DJ provided by CitySoundWaveDance, relax, and take a 360 video to post to Instagram or FB page. 

Whether you’re staying in town or want to stop by on your way home for the night, this social is sure to be a fun one! Additionally, hearty appetizers will be provided by WRPA with a no-host bar.

Thursday Lunch Trivia with Geeks Who Drink

Thursday, April 14 | 12:00 PM – 1:30 PM

Have fun with free trivia from Geeks Who Drink! WRPA members can optionally break out into teams. At the same time, eat lunch and compete in a four-round custom recreation industry-related trivia game! So get your team name ready, swing by the stage in Center Hall A, and play some trivia.

2022 Awards Banquet

WRPA Awards Program: The Washington Recreation & Park Association celebrates people, parks, and programs with an annual awards program honoring individuals and organizations for their contributions to the field of parks and recreation in Washington State. We have three major categories that we recognize: Professional Awards, Citation of Merit Awards, and Spotlight Awards. Each year we celebrate the award winners at a banquet during the Annual Conference. 


Post-Awards Social

Thursday, April 14 | 7:00 PM – 10:00 PM

After the awards banquet, the WRPA is taking over Forum Social House! Enjoy private use of the Rockwell Sound Lounge and our own Top Golf Swing Suite! Follow that up with 18 holes of Par1 Miniature Golf! 

The Rockwell Sound Lounge features fun lighting, a private cash bar, comfy couches to sit on, tables to stand next to, and plenty of dancing room.

The Top Golf Swing Suite is one large room with a giant screen. Play golf on one of over 80+ world-renowned golf courses or watch others as you enjoy the comfy suite.

Show us your conference badge and play an 18-hole round of Par1 Miniature Golf featuring uniquely themed, selfie-inspired holes that keep you guessing from hole to hole.
