The Municipal Research & Services Center of Washington 
The Municipal Research and Services Center (MRSC) is a non-profit, independent organization created in 1969 to continue programs established in 1934 under the Bureau of Governmental Research at the University of Washington. In 1997, Washington counties joined cities in funding MRSC, and in 2007, special districts were added. Our mission is "working together for excellence in local government through professional consultation, research and information services."

School's Out Washington

School's Out Washington's - Washington Afterschool Network, is one of thirty-one states to receive grants from the Charles Stewart Mott Foundation in Flint, Michigan, for the launch of statewide afterschool networks that promote sustainable and effective after-school programming. The grant -- made to School's Out Washington -- funds the Washington Afterschool Network (WAN), a formal statewide collaboration designed to improve the quantity and quality of afterschool programs in Washington.
