We strive to provide inclusive and equitable membership levels for agencies of any size. Find the right membership level for your organization below. Membership Dues are voluntary and non-refundable.

Agency Membership

Agency Memberships are for any organization that delivers recreation services. Agency members pay one flat rate annually to have all of their employees as WRPA members. Your agency's unique membership cost is based on your Operating & Management budget. This membership provides all of your staff members (Full time, part time, temporary, volunteers, etc.) and all of your Council, Board, and Commissioners access to all of WRPA's membership benefits.

Commercial Membership

Commercial Memberships are an alternative to agency membership. This membership type is for industry partners who are looking to connect with WRPA members. This membership is included with the purchase of some WRPA Sponsorships. However, it can be purchased separately and it can be added to other sponsorship or exhibit opportunities. A full list of benefits can be found below.

  • Company employee profiles with contact information and company description in the vendor directory
  • Receive member discounts on WRPA events and training programs
  • Access to WRPA Resources (WRPA newsletter, member directory, and WRPA membership app)
  • Opportunity to submit a proposal to provide specialized training
  • Complimentary WRPA Job Board postings

Professional Membership Levels

Professional Memberships are an alternative to a full agency membership. This membership level offers just one staff member (Full time, part time, temporary, etc.) access to all of WRPA's membership benefits. The membership cost is based on past membership status and/or the gross salary of the individual.

Emerging Professional | $85 For New Members and Recent Graduates Only
Level 2 | $125 Under $50,000
Level 3 | $172 More Than $50,000

Other Individual Memberships Levels

WRPA also offers the following Individual Membership levels as an alternative to a full agency membership. This membership level offers just one staff member access to all of WRPA's membership benefits. 

Individual Memberships Levels Cost
Affiliate Membership
Any agency that provides recreation services as a secondary function; these include institutions, social service organizations, hospitals, nursing homes, military installations, and academic institutions.

Associate Membership
For individuals who live out of state, or who are not currently employed in the field but who wish to keep informed through section affiliation and receipt of publications. This can include any volunteers, community members, etc.)

Emeritus Membership
For individuals who have retired and wish to remain involved and informed about the association.

For individuals attending school and wishing to learn more about the profession through section affiliation and receipt of publications.
