CONFERENCE SOCIALS
Taco Tuesday at Riverfront ParkTuesday, May 16 | 6:00 PM – 9:00 PMJoin us for the opening night social of the 76th Annual WRPA Conference in Spokane! This great evening of connecting with friends and colleagues will kick off on the North Bank of Riverfront Park at the Ice Age Floods Playground and picnic shelter. The evening of fun is sponsored by NW Playground Equipment hosting delicious tacos and beverages. The amazing authentic food catered by Tacos Camargo will get you fueled up for the week. After enjoying great food and company, take a rip down one of the Ice Age Floods playground slides, test your bouldering skills on the Roskelly Climbing Rock, play some corn hole on the grass, and soak in the sites and sounds of Riverfront Park. This will be a blast! Don’t forget to sign up for the Podium Sportsplex tour happening before the Taco Tuesday Social. Meeting Location:

Join us at Flatstick Pub for an exclusive experience of free mini golf, duffleboard, pockets, and wickets. Our social sponsor for this event is Great Western Recreation hosting WRPA conference attendees for a night of fun. Come enjoy all these games and more for free! You and your colleagues won’t need to worry about figuring out where to go for dinner that night as they have graciously provided, pizza, wings, and salad to keep your bodies running as you recreate the night away. WRPA has a large variety of groups that meet on a regular basis to connect about their specific field. We have networks for Aquatics, Park Resources, Programming, Fitness/Athletic, Administrator, Park Rangers, and more. These groups will be meeting up for socials at the conference. We have three major categories that we recognize: Professional Awards, Citation of Merit Awards, and Spotlight Awards. Each year we celebrate the award winners at a banquet during the Annual Conference. Riverfront Pavilion PartayPost-Awards Banquet SocialThursday, May 18 | 7:00 PM – 10:00 PMEVERYONE must make their way after the banquet and finish off the conference with a night under the lights at the Riverfront Park Pavilion.
