Everyone has a diversity story, and yet, our handling of race issues in America has a long way to go. It's time for us to find new ways to work together and heal our communities. In this keynote, author and diversity consultant Seconde Nimenya will share a motivational message to inspire and empower participants on how to live, learn, and lead better in a world of differences. 

Learning Objectives  Participants will learn how to:

  • Disrupt unconscious bias and improve race relations in the workplace and communities
  • Bridge the racial and cultural gaps to prevent stereotypes and biases
Recognize and use their privileges to better themselves and others.

Biography: Seconde Nimenya is the author of five books who has spent more than a decade as a thought leader on diversity and inclusion in a world of differences. Through her leadership development programs, she advocates for diversity, equity, and inclusion in the workplace, education, and communities. Seconde speaks at various conferences and seminars, inspiring and empowering her audiences to use their life experiences to better themselves and others.

Seconde’s most recent book, Unlocking Diversity: How to Create Inclusive Cultures in a World of Differences is a timely and thought-provoking book that challenges assumptions and the status quo on the topics of race, equity and inclusion in the workplace and our communities. She works with organizational leaders who want to build inclusive workplaces and communities where everyone feels accepted for who they are and what they bring to the world to make it a better place for all.
