A Systems Approach to Managing Risk

Monday, February 3 | 1:30 PM - 2:45 PM

Session Description:

We all know we need to manage risk in parks and recreation programming. But how do we approach this responsibility? How did we know if we’re considering all the relevant risk factors? How can we tell if our risk management strategy is sufficient? This presentation aims to provide a unified approach to the management of risk that can be used to answer these questions and more. Participants will learn a comprehensive framework for how to appropriately assess and manage risks in the parks and recreation context.
