Amy Lindsey; Programming and Marketing Manager –  Riverfront Park – Spokane Parks & Recreation; City of Spokane

As the Programming & Marketing Manager at Spokane's largest urban park, Amy plays a pivotal role in shaping the community's engagement with events small and large. She oversees a diverse array of free and low-cost programs that cater to all age groups, including educational workshops, recreational activities, and special events. Additionally, Amy manages the Spokane Pavilion concerts, where she worked hard to ensure our newest redeveloped space could accommodate our Master Plan and successfully host an outdoor concerts series with our selected booking partner. Her responsibilities also extend to food and beverage programs, where she collaborates with local vendors to enhance the park's offerings, as well as developing sponsorships and partnerships that support park initiatives and create lasting community ties.

Amy joined the City of Spokane in 2018, bringing with her a wealth of experience from her previous role at Denver Arts & Venues, where she made a significant impact by launching the highly successful "Yoga on the Rocks" program at the iconic Red Rocks Amphitheater. This innovative program not only attracted fitness enthusiasts but also showcased the breathtaking natural beauty of the venue.

Beyond her extensive background, what truly sets Amy apart is her infectious "can-do" attitude. She approaches every challenge with enthusiasm and creativity, always striving to find solutions that make the seemingly impossible, possible. Her dedication to fostering a welcoming and inclusive environment in the park is evident in every program she implements, making Spokane a better place for its residents and visitors alike.
