Please register for the WWRC Fall Celebration on October 11. This will be an amazing event to celebrate the important work we all did last year to help secure $120 million for the Washington Wildlife and Recreation Program. The Washington Wildlife and Recreation Coalition (WWRC) is the non-profit coalition that puts public funding for local and state parks, wildlife habitat, and preservation of working farms and forest lands at the forefront of every Washington legislator. The theme for the event will be “Today’s Success, Tomorrow’s Legacy.” It will be honoring three groups working to help get underrepresented groups outdoors in different ways: Coast Salish Youth Stewardship Corps, Climbers of Color, and Hunters of Color.
