Conference Education Committee (CEC)

The CEC is one of the most important committees of WRPA! We are responsible for recruiting, selecting, and coordinating enriching, relevant educational sessions for the Annual Conference and Fall Summit.

Our Mission: To offer practical, innovative, and coordinated educational opportunities to enhance professional development within WRPA consistent with NRPA's program standards.

We aim to have a dedicated diverse committee that is representative of the WRPA membership and are always seeking new committee members!

WANTED: Volunteers

• Are you passionate about professional development?
• Does the idea of developing robust, exciting learning experiences for your peers excite you?
• Have you ever walked away from a conference or learning opportunity and thought "I really wish there was a session that touched on XYZ topic, that would have been great!"?

If you answered yes, then the Conference Education Committee might be a perfect fit for you! The CEC is searching for a wide variety of volunteers to help build programming that is relevant to all facets of recreation and parks, including: 

• Professionals from a multitude of industry program areas
• Representation from all association districts
• Members with varied levels of experience in the field
