Communications Committee

The WRPA Communication Committee is responsible for maintaining the branding and is the voice of the association by providing information to the members through the following sources: 

  • WRPA Website
  • WRPAToday Newsletter/Other Emails
  • WRPA Blog
  • WRPA’s Social Networking
  • Promotion of WRPA Events & Trainings
  • Miscellaneous publications

The Communications Committee is responsible, in collaboration with the WRPA Office, for the development, design, and maintenance of the WRPA website and email marketing. The committee members research and gather information, implement enhancements, and monitor the content of the website to ensure it is a premier source of information for our members, sponsors, and the recreation community.  This committee is a vital piece of WRPA as it provides valuable information about our Annual Conference, training opportunities, networking, and member updates. 

Commitment: 2-4 hours per month, monthly hour meeting
