The session will focus on best practices for cleaning up encampments while also coving basic demographics currently being seen, available resources, and the approach the City of Bellingham is taking. State laws and city ordinances that you should be aware of are covered, as is information about when to report it and when to remove it. Learning objectives: 1) Learn more about the issues related to encampments and the unhoused population.2) Learn about the ordinances and laws that can impact what can be done. 3) Learn best practices for encampment cleanup. |
