10 Tips for Getting Your RCO Grant Above the Funding Line!Wednesday, April 22 | 2:45pm - 4:00pm Session Description: The movie Jerry Maguire highlights the great Rod Tidwell screaming - “SHOW! ME! the MONEY!!!” This session will highlight ten practical tips for getting your next RCO grant above the funding line. These tips are designed to work for agencies of any size and with any level of resources, and will no doubt give you an edge as you work to create more competitive grant applications. Speakers: Paul Simmons About the Speakers: Paul Simmons has been in the profession for over 20 years and has served as the Parks and Recreation Director for the Cities of Olympia and Cheney. Throughout his career, his agencies have collectively submitted 10 RCO grants and received funding for each project totaling nearly $5,000,000. He has also served on a variety of evaluation panels and policy review committees for the RCO, which have helped him better understand the complexities of the RCO grant process. Return to Schedule |
