Using the City of Spokane’s successful branding campaign as a model, marketing firm Desautel Hege will dissect what it takes to create a cohesive brand experience with unified messaging that will attract people to parks, facilities and programs. Explore what stories are worth telling, how to involve stakeholders, who key audiences are and how to integrate a branding campaign across multiple platforms. Participants will learn how to build their brands!

  • Learn how to prioritize key audiences, understand their needs and perceptions, and identify effective channels to reach them.
  • Learn how to build a cohesive brand experience across a range of programs and services and bring sub-brands under a unifying look and feel.
  • Learn how to build an integrated campaign across print and digital, environmental signage, social media and media relations.

About the Speakers:

Jessica manages accounts for local and state agencies along with a host of other clients. She has spearheaded integrated campaigns in public health and transit, environmental advocacy, and private sector branding, providing strategic counsel and creative direction to help organizations achieve goals. Jessica was the account lead for the City of Spokane’s “Enjoy Spokane” campaign and the 2018 rebrand of Spokane’s iconic Riverfront Park. Jessica graduated Summa Cum Laude from Montana State University with her bachelor’s degree in English.
