Off-site Session: Henry M. Jackson Park, Grand Avenue Park, and Wetmore Theatre Plaza

 

They City of Everett is working to create parks and places that provide healthy and safe outdoor opportunities for the community and they have a few new places to show off! Participants in this off-site session will have an opportunity to visit the newly redesigned and renovated Senator Henry M. Jackson Park. Park planners will be on-hand to share information about the design and how it meets the needs of the community and utilizes the latest innovative park features. From there participants will visit Grand Avenue Park, the City’s beautiful three block, linear overlook of Port Gardner Bay, the Port of Everett Marina, and Naval Station Everett. The last stop will be the Wetmore TheatrePlaza. Located in downtown Everett, this beautiful outdoor setting, with striking artwork by noted Northwest artist Linda Beaumont, has proven to be a welcome gathering place and catalyst for theater and the arts. This tour will provide 0.2 CEUs.
