Congratulations, you are graduating (or have graduated) with a degree in recreation. Does that guarantee you a job? Unfortunately, no. This session will give you tips and trade secrets to give you a leg up over all the other people gunning for entry level positions into parks and recreation. Voted the best student session in 2014, this session provides you with a unique opportunity to speak with current parks and rec professionals and get all their secrets for getting hired. Practice interviewing, hear what you can do to prepare yourself, learn what to put on resumes and applications, find the best places to get experience in the field, and many other topics will be covered. This is your chance to learn from the people that may be hiring you after graduation. As a future professional in parks and recreation, if you attend only one session this conference, this should be it! This session is for students only!
