Discover Spokane’s Newest Multi-Use Sports and Entertainment Facility

Visit this brand new 135,000sq.ft. multi-use sports and entertainment facility adjacent to Riverfront Park and the Spokane Arena. Upon your arrival, the premises will be set up for one of many concerts. The Podium has recently hosted several national sports championships and a bunch of regional invitationals including the 2022 USA Track and Field Indoor Championships. This facility also ran its first indoor concert series in 2022 and was the home of the Spring 2022 Spokane Parks and Recreation volleyball league. Learn about the facility’s place in the national and regional indoor sports circuit and the amazing partnership between Spokane Parks and Recreation, the Spokane Public Facilities District, and the Spokane Sports Commission. This tour will be led by Paul Christiansen, Director of Sports, for the Spokane Public Facilities District.

Join us for the opening night social of the 76^th Annual WRPA Conference in Spokane! This great evening of connecting with friends and colleagues will kick off on the North Bank of Riverfront Park at the Ice Age Floods Playground and picnic shelter. The evening of fun is sponsored by NW Playground Equipment hosting delicious tacos and beverages. The amazing authentic food catered by Tacos Camargo will get you fueled up for the week. After enjoying great food and company, take a rip down one of the Ice Age Floods playground slides, test your bouldering skills on the Roskelly Climbing Rock, play some corn hole on the grass, and soak in the sites and sounds of Riverfront Park. This will be a blast!
