Know Before You Go

Things to Remember 

  • Masks are optional but encouraged. We want everyone to feel safe.
  • Sign in each morning at the registration desk. This ensures that we have the correct paperwork for the National Recreation & Park Association (NRPA).
  • There is a mandatory survey that needs to be filled out and turned in to NRPA. The surveys will be at the registration desk. Please make a point to grab your survey (your name will be listed on it), fill it out, and turn it back in before the end of the day.
  • Bring a writing utensil and your course materials.
  • Bring a sweater as temperatures flatulate throughout the day. Please dress in layers, it may be chilly outside. You can check the weather the day before. 
  • Bring a refillable water bottle that you can fill up throughout the day.
  • Light meals are provided. We will provide a light breakfast, coffee, and lunch. You are welcome to bring your own food/beverages if you prefer. 

Test Day Information 

You will need two forms of identification to take the test. This can be a driver's license and a credit card or a Social Security card. Both ID's will need to have your name and an existing signature.

The exam begins promptly at 9:00 AM on test day. If you arrive late, you will not be able to take the exam. You will have 2 hours to complete the exam.
