Team Building on a Dollar Tree BudgetWednesday, April 22 | 4:30pm - 4:50pm Session Description: Are you looking for fun and engaging ways to get the creative juices and flowing and communications going? We will give you some ideas on some team building games that are sure to improve workplace morale and won’t break the budget. Team building is the most important investment you’ll make and all you need is a little bit of time and a roll of duct tape. Learning Objectives:
Speakers: Josh Oakes, Andy Fuzak About the Speakers: Josh Oakes is a Recreation Supervisor for the City of Spokane Parks and Recreation Department. Josh has over 13 years of experience leading teams in the parks and recreation profession working with groups ranging from summer camp counselors, sports officials, aquatics staff, and volunteers. He graduated from the University of Idaho with a BA in Recreation and is certified by the National Recreation and Parks Association as a Certified Parks and Recreation Professional and an Aquatic Facility Operator. Andy is a Recreation Supervisor for the City of Spokane Parks and Recreation Department. He graduated from Eastern Washington University in 2010 with a bachelor’s degree in Outdoor Recreation. Andy started working with Spokane Parks and Recreation as a camp counselor, then camp director, outdoor recreation summer intern, and then as an administration assistant to the outdoor recreation supervisor. In March of 2019, he was selected to become recreation supervisor of youth programs, general recreation programs, and sports field allocations. Return to Schedule |
