Sports Participation Trends in the US

Session Description: The National Sporting Goods Association will present trends on team and individual based sports in the US. Topics covered will include which sports are increasing and declining as well as barriers to participation. Finally, the presentation will touch on a couple of real-world examples on how park and rec organizations have used NSGA’s data to better their programming and procurement efforts.

Speakers: Nick Rigitano

About the Speakers: Nick joined the NGSA in 2014 and brings over 6 years of market research and analytic experience. He is an integral part in the execution and analysis of the associations research. He has contributed valuable content to a variety of trade publications to keep the industry abreast of the evolving trends. He as also spoken at NRPA for the past three years due to the high demand for this session.
