Esports Round Table

Wednesday, April 22 | 1:55pm - 2:15pm 

Session Description: This round table discussion will allow local gamers to answers questions about how cities and agencies can support Esports (competitive online gaming) to best meet the needs and interests of the gaming community. Invited guests will be answering questions provided by the moderator, and depending on available time, will be able to answer questions from the audience.

Learning Objectives:

  1. Attendees will learn how to make Esports and competitive online gaming opportunities attractive and engaging for local gamers.

Speakers: Grayson Court

About the Speakers: Grayson Court serves as a Management Analyst for City of Sammamish Parks, Recreation & Facilities. In addition to his 10 years in public service working for local governments, colleges and non-profits, Grayson is also an invited guest lecturer at the University of Washington on data visualization. Past speaking engagements include presentations at statewide, regional and international conferences on business intelligence and communicating data to support high-level decision-making.

Jacob Beach serves as the Esports Coach at Centralia College where he focuses on player growth, development, training, and advancement as an Esports professional and model player-athlete with the end goal of making a living in Esports. In addition to his coaching duties at Centralia College, Jacob works with community partners to help shape and expand the Esports landscape across the Pacific Northwest.
