Design Trends for Risk Management in Aquatics

Session Description: In today’s world, risk management starts in the facility design and renovation process. This session will identify key risk management areas of concern, trends for managing risk, and helpful tips for aging aquatic centers. Participants will be given cost information in the form of a handout to take back to their directors for consideration to increase risk management efforts at their facility.

Speakers: Michelle Gable
About the Speakers: Michelle Gable has over 15 years of experience in the aquatics industry as an operator and programmer. Michelle has served in management roles on both the competitive and recreational sides of aquatics. As an instructor for multiple institutions Michelle has trained over 800 individuals in a variety of aquatics and first responder certifications. Teaching has enabled Michelle to share her aquatic knowledge and expertise with future generations of aquatic professionals.
