WRPA 2019 Annual Conference and TradeshowDiverse Voices, Diverse Needs: An Interactive Way to Engage and Strengthen a CommunityThursday, April 11 | 1:00pm - 2:15pm Session Description: Communities have diverse voices with different needs, but what if organizations only hear from the “usual suspects?” In this session, participants will gain innovative and practical techniques to identify community needs and establish and strengthen long-term relationships with their diverse citizenry. Participate in a community engagement exercise to uncover bias, learn how to encourage patrons to see through a different lens, and discover needs that may not be obvious.
