Expanding My Professional Network

“I am where I am today because of the experiences I’ve gained from WRPA. The WRPA Annual Conference presents a unique opportunity to expand my professional network, while also learning about the best practices that are being implemented throughout our profession”

Paul Simmons – Olympia Parks, Recreation & Arts Director

Won't Miss the Golf Tournament

“The WRPA Annual Conference is a great opportunity to connect with other professionals, make some memories, and share hilarious stories. Personally, I'm looking forward to SeaTac in 2018 as a way further my career experience, while also avenging my teams atrocious round of golf played at the 2017 WRPA Conference Golf Tournament.”

Ryan "Long Drive" Daly – Mercer Island Parks & Recreation

Professionals Come Together to Learn

“The WRPA Annual Conference provides parks and recreation professionals with relevant, critical information, and educational opportunities to develop and grow as leaders within our profession. Professionals come together to learn both from experts and from each other, sharing successes, challenges, and opportunities. I know the communities we serve are better [because of] those who invest the time in attending the educational sessions and networking opportunities. Looking forward to seeing you there!”

Lori Cummings
– City of Everett Parks and Community Services Director

The WRPA 2017-2018 President

“I am enthusiastic about the WRPA Conference in SeaTac because we are returning to the core of the Puget Sound and bringing an unbelievable collection of educational and networking opportunities for our members. Our association started this year off incredibly, with a successful Risk Management School in Federal Way. This training was sold out and the positive member response was overwhelming. The bar has been set high for the SeaTac Conference, but I think that our organizing committee is putting together an amazing slate of sessions and activities. This conference will definitely live up the theme of "Forging Links" by providing members access to the conference at the SeaTac Hilton from the light rail across the street and the transit system.  Don't miss out as WRPA will be connecting people, cultivating ideas, and creating excitement in SeaTac in 2018!”
