Thursday, April 30th Keynote: Mike Smith

A native to Imperial, Nebraska, Mike Smith has been speaking professionally for the last 5 years and has been a youth worker for over 10 years. He is the Founder and Executive Director of a non-profit indoor skatepark/youth outreach center in The BAY and its offshoot, Skate For Change, both of which have begun to receive national acclaim and support from the likes of Red Bull and State Farm. Mike is an expert at communicating with kids and encouraging them to make good decisions that lead them to follow their dreams. Today, Mike resides in and works out of Lincoln with his wife, Amber, and their Husky, Burton.

Students have only four years to leave their legacy on their high school. Each year, Mike challenges hundreds of thousands of students with one simple question: "What do you want to be remembered for?" As some of Nevada's finest Student Council members, how would YOU answer this question?
