In this workshop, you will learn the power of goal setting and the easy goal setting formula. People complain about lack of time when the lack of direction is the real problem. Whoever you are, wherever you are and whatever you do, you should have goals. With definite goals you release your own power, and things start happening!


Speaker Bio: Brian Ziegler, PE, Pierce County Parks & Recreation

Brian Ziegler is the Director of Pierce County Public Works and Utilities for Pierce County.  He is a valedictorian graduate of Saint Martins College (now University) in Olympia.  He has over 37 years of experience in the planning, financing, design, construction, and maintenance of public works facilities.  

Brian is a national APWA Top Ten Public Works Director Award winner and a regular instructor at the APWA Northwest Public Works Institute, a leadership and management training program for public works professionals.  His research focus is answering the question, "Why do you do that thing you do?"
