About the WRPA Annual Conference

WRPA traditionally welcomes more than 450 recreation and park professionals, sponsors, exhibitors, and speakers to the Annual Conference & Tradeshow.

This event focuses on education, networking, and having fun. We usually host a pre-event golf tournament, several social activities, a few facility tours, and an awards ceremony. Additionally, we offer around 30 educational sessions focusing on a wide variety of topics including advocacy, aquatics, equity, maintenance and operations, program design, risk management, and more. 

The 2022 event will take place in Bellevue, Washington at the Meydenbauer Center.

Planning Through a Pandemic

At this time, WRPA's 2022 Conference & Tradeshow is planning to be an in-person event. We want you to know that your safety, and the safety of all attendees, remains our top priority. While the 2022 Conference & Tradeshow will not be canceled, it may become necessary at some point for the format to change (online/virtual). We appreciate your understanding and willingness to be flexible while we work within the limitations set by our obligations and the current pandemic.
