Speakers: Breece Robertson VP | Trust for Public Land Fellow

Description: The Trust for Public Land is guiding strategic park creation and public land conservation across the country by leveraging community engagement and cutting-edge GIS technology. Our approaches are driving the organization’s bold vision of equitable access to parks and public lands for all – because everyone deserves access to a quality outdoor experience! Learn how we are using big data like social media and autonomous cell phone data to estimate park and public land usage nationwide or machine learning and artificial intelligence to create park amenity data. We’ll share how we are combining equity-driven engagement with GIS technology to create park and conservation plans that are supported by communities and partners. From national to local, we are supporting and inspiring communities to create healthy communities that have quality parks and public land access.
