One of WRPA's core values is diversity, and at the 2015 Business Institute you will have the opportunity to participate in two sessions focused on cultural competency, presented by Heidi Schillinger with Equity Matters. Cultural competency is a hot topic in today's diverse world. Be sure to sign up for these two sessions on the registration form; space is limited to 40 attendees!

The day will also include a fantastic mix of subjects to help navigate the ever-changing landscape of park & recreation. Choose from four tracks throughout the day:

1. Organization & Administration
2. Resource & Revenue Development
3. Business & Program Management
4. Communication & Marketing

Learn how to resolve and prevent workplace conflict, or how to successfully plan for the future. Touch up on best practices for recruiting, interviewing & hiring, or create processes that match WRPA's cultural competence and equity values.
