Session: Demonstrating Leadership Using Strategic Decision-Making
Track: Administration & Organization

9:00am - 12:00pm
Speaker: Janet May & Janice Corbin, Sound Employment Solutions, LLC

Description: The complexity and hectic nature of today’s work environment frequently results in leaders making decisions in reaction to a crisis or problem. These reactionary decisions are seldom successful, primarily because they are not well thought-out and instead are often made based on emotions. Their lack of success results in decision paralysis where employees at all levels of the organization are afraid to make decisions. This seminar focuses on how to influence your leadership and your employees to invest in systematic and effective decision-making and problem solving, and provides skill building for your own decision-making.
